Delicious food, big portions, great Knödel and beer. The place is cozy, loud, nicely decorated with a wooden and rustic vibe. The dessert was also delicious! Skip appetizers and get a dessert instead. Can’t say anything bad at all. It was crowdy, but everything worked out smoothly! Thank you!

The service was friendly, the food unfortunately only to be picked up, but delicious. I was very excited about the inn and will definitely visit it again after the pandemic.

Food was tasty, but forgot my order and then had to wait, even though I ordered 2 hours earlier.

Good Bavarian food, the service is always nice. Kaiserschmarrn is always the highlight, the prices are rather higher according to Munich standards.

Best Augustiner beer, outstanding schnitzel and nice staff. In good weather you can sit really well in the beer garden. Pretzel schnitzel is recommended!

We recommend. Quaint, cozy inn with a good menu. To be honest, extremely tasty food, both by the standards and the menu of the day, among others. Deer, deer and wild boar. Definitely try it out!

Very friendly and very tasty. Waiters and waitresses tried very hard. So far I have been to Munich twice and each time spent a very nice evening there. Absolutely to be recommended!

Very nice restaurant with great service ? there's outdoor and indoor seats, both are very nice. The food is good and comes with reasonable price. Highly recommend to visit if you want to try some authentic german cuisine in Munich.

Great spot for authentic German restaurant / bar experience. Staff is friendly and service is a touch above typical. This spot is off the normal tourist track - so if you want the real deal this is the spot to come.

Very nice staff, nice courtyard and excellent food. A little more expensive but worth it! Spinach dumplings are recommended.

Münchner schnitzel is highly recommended. Here the fresh horseradish is included as a side dish. Which I liked very much. The fried potatoes were very good but not great. The service was quick and very friendly. Atmosphere very nice but overall quite loud.

Wanted a quiet lunch outside. The prices are normal for the quarter but overpriced for the result of the kitchen. My veal schnitzel was breaded that wasn't really golden brown. The breading has completely fallen off. Even the leaking sauce of the potato salad didn't make it easier. The audience was very level. Enjoying the meal on a Sunday afternoon was impossible. Apparently a small loudspeaker was installed right next to our table. Every time the guests or the waiter passed by, there was a loud farting noise. Apparently it should be meant as a joke. Total kindergarten level. Then a very loud laugh and roar. Until the farting noises got worse. (Toilet seat noises) A pleasant meal was therefore impossible. Accordingly, the staff did not intervene either. The friendliness of the staff was therefore not available. You can dine better in every corner pub. I paid almost € 100 for a meal in a pseudo kindergarten. I definitely don't recommend it.

Great Bavarian economy. Draft beer and good Bavarian dishes twice a week. Cozy atmosphere and pleasant clientele. Reasonable prices. Classic pub for the neighborhood. We need more of that.

Great food and service

The atmosphere was relaxed and pleasant. The schnitzel was very good, as was the beer. We could still sit in the small beer garden. Thanks I will definitely be back.

The waitresses are nice and quick. We all enjoyed the food, regardless of whether it was soup, salad, vegetarian or meat dishes, everything was great! Also great in terms of price. At lunchtime the four of us were given a great seat even without a reservation. Thank you

Very good, not only the service but also the food. If the fried potatoes are good, and they were, you can always be sure that everything else is also very good. I have been here a number of times now and must say, the food is excellent. The atmosphere is cosy and very Bavarian and, the service is good and friendly. Six of us went here for dinner this week, we all enjoyed it very much. The Kaiserschmarrn we had for dessert was simply amazing and, we all loved it. They have a good few things for vegetarians and, the salad choice was also good. The side salad I had was excellent and made with fresh greens. I really like the Münchener Schnitzel with Bratkartoffle they have on the menu and, the drink choices are plenty. They serve Augustiner beer here along with wines, schnapps, aperitif and non alcoholic cold and hot drinks. The Hirschkuss after dinner is the perfect drink to aid in digestion :-) We come here semi regularly. It's good hearty Bavarian food for a reasonable price. Booking is highly recommended specially during the evening as it can get quite busy.

The food here is fantastic and there’s a really cosy atmosphere. I eat here at least once a week and come socially every few days. It’s so popular that you should book in advance. The staff are very friendly and they serve... JW Augustiner ? what else do you need for a five star review ??‍♂️ They also have a cozy library where they have a weekly literature get together.

Ine of my personal favorites german restaurants! Food is great and desserts even better! The beer is quite good! In the summer there is a terrace that is very nice!!

We love this place! The food is amazing, and the ambiance is lovely. Make reservations in advance as it is busy, but having a large group is not a problem.

Wonderful place to enjoy typical Bavarisn cuisine. The service is swift and the members of staff are very friendly.

They have a great traditional Bavarian menu. Could be crowded for a dinner, we went without a reservation but we were lucky, they invited us to the bar and with the amazing local beer, they helped us to decide for the food. A must place in Munich!
